FOR ADULT PRODUCTIONS AUDITIONS:
Auditions notices for adult productions are sent out prior to each audition.
If you would like to be added to our audition mailing list, contact Ann Hedger, Programming Coordinator, at 440-951-7500, ext. 103

FOR YOUTH THEATRE PRODUCTIONS:
Audition notices for youth theatre productions are NOT mailed out but WILL appear in the newspapers listed to the right. Audition information flyers may also be picked up at The Fine Arts Association.

Theatre Arts Camp | Young Actors Ensemble

Theatre Arts Camp (TAC) 2008

"Wipe Out Beach Party FAA"
For students entering grades 3-12

Audition Dates
Open auditions:  Sun. May 4, beginning at 1pm
(if unable to attend audition date, please call.)

To schedule an audition time, call the Customer Service Center at 440-951-7500.


Auditions are for acceptance & placement into the program.    ALL levels of experience will be considered.

Audition Preparation

  • Student SHOULD prepare a short, memorized poem or monologue (a short, single character speech) from a play, book or movie.
  • Student should prepare a short song to sing, any style. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
  • Student should dress comfortably for movement. No open-toed or high heeled shoes.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before scheduled time and plan to stay for one hour.

STUDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED of acceptance into the program BY MAIL.
Registration will begin upon notification of acceptance.

Young Actors Ensemble (YAE) 2008

"Relative Connections"
For students entering grades 9-12 and 2008 high school grads

Audition Dates
Returning 2007 YAE students:  Sat. March 15 from 1:00 -3:00 pm
Open auditions:  Sun. May 4 beginning at 4 pm
(if unable to attend audition dates, please call.)

Auditions are for acceptance & placement into the program.  ALL levels of experience will be considered.


Audition Preparation

  • Student should prepare a 1 minute contemporary monologue from a play or musical. Monologue must be memorized.
  • There will also be a short interview with the Program Director. 
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before scheduled time to fill out paperwork.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT for accepted students must be made by May 5, 2008 in order to retain student’s spot in The Young Actors Ensemble.

STUDENTS WILL BE NOTIFIED of acceptance into the program BY MAIL.
Registration will begin upon notification of acceptance.

The Fine Arts Association encourages NONTRADITIONAL CASTING for all productions.

ALL UPCOMING AUDITIONS will also be listed in The News Herald, The Plain Dealer, Free Times, Northcoast Voice, Lake County Gazette and online at www.clevescene.com, and NEOhioPal one to two weeks prior to the auditions.
