Art... the Creative Experience
Art classes at the School of Fine Arts remain some of the most popular in the area. There is a full palette: clay, watercolor, drawing, oil and acrylic painting and ceramics.
Other innovative offerings include classes in cartooning, calligraphy, new crafting techniques and screen printing. A highly talented staff of instructors is continually augmenting their curriculum to include new classes.
Classes for all ages are offered so everyone can benefit.
All courses have new projects each session. Materials fees are included in the class tuition unless indicated otherwise. Cover-up smocks are provided for preschool art classes.
Ceramics projects are varied by age and interests. Students create all projects from clay. They are then glazed and fired onsite at The Fine Arts Association. Project examples include: trinket boxes, animals, plates, cups, frames, coil pots, piggy banks, baskets, tiles, beads and more!
