Drawing is the foundation of visual expression and learning to draw what you see is the first step. This structured class teaches basic drawing skills, working from still lifes, models and photographs. Students focus on learning how to plan, position, proportion and practice line and shading techniques. Experiment with multiple media such as pencil, charcoal, paints and many more. Attain a broader understanding of how light and shadows define 3-dimentional objects and how to place them in an atmosphere. Experimentation is encouraged. Class tuition includes model fee.
