In addition to private one-on-one music instruction, The Fine Arts Association offers the following ensembles in which students can participate. No auditions required! Come learn and grow as a young musician.

Do you watch the TV hit Glee? Do you love to sing and dance? If so, you’ll want to join the FAA Starz Show Choir! The Starz Show Choir will perform several times at Fine Arts and in the community. Students work with Sharon Morris, Voice and Hannah Ziegler, Movement and Choreography to turn this ensemble into shining stars! The Starz Show Choir is a continuous program. Fall 2011 session students need to re-register for the Spring 2012 session. Spring 2012 session begins Thursday, February 2, 2012.

When young violinists, violists and cellists gather to form an orchestra, they find music making with others to be engrossing and exciting. And, while they are enjoying the creation of musical performances, students are improving their music-reading skills, learning to play more expressively and gaining ensemble skills. The Starz Strings will play in a wide variety of styles - including the classics, folk music, movie music and pops. Students who are part of this ensemble must be able to read music and be currently studying privately.
