Laurén has a Master of Arts in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College. In addition to working at FAA, Lauren is also a counselor and art therapist at WomenSafe, a nonprofit organization that provides emergency shelter and resources to survivors of domestic violence. She works with adults and children to process trauma and other stressors utilizing a variety of art mediums as a creative outlet. She also has experience working with a variety of populations including young children, teens, seniors diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, individuals with disabilities, and adults with mental health needs. Laurén is an artist who enjoys creating abstract paintings and pottery. Laurén is a member of the American Art Therapy Association, and the Ohio Counseling Association.
