Natalia DePoy, a violin instructor at FAA, has performed with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (New Orleans), Acadiana Symphony, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra, in addition to working as a freelance performer in and around the city of New Orleans. She has also performed with the Academy of the Performing Arts Orchestra in Monterrey, Mexico, and was a first-place winner in the New Orleans Soloist’s Competition. She has taught college-level strings and violin at the Community Music School at Southeastern Louisiana University and also taught general music at Trafton Academy in Hammond, Louisiana. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education, Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and Master of Music in Violin Performance degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University, and also studied at the Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza conservatory in Monterrey, Mexico. She speaks fluent Spanish and Russian.
