Ann Marie joined The Fine Arts Association team as a music therapist in 2009, adding to her role in the Fall of 2015 as Music Therapy Coordinator, and then Associate Director of Creative Arts Therapies in Fall of 2019. Ann Marie accepted the position of Director of Creative Arts Therapies (CAT) in August 2022 where she advocates for art therapy, music therapy, and adapted arts services at The Fine Arts Association and in the community. In addition to leading the Creative Arts Therapies department, and teaching and developing the early childhood music program at The Fine Arts Association, Ann Marie also provides individual and group music therapy services at Ss. Robert and William as part of The Fine Arts Off-Site CAT Program. Previously, Ann Marie completed her music therapy internship and first two years as a board-certified music therapist at Twin Valley Behavioral Healthcare, an inpatient psychiatric hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Ann Marie also worked as a music therapist for the Positive Education Program, a school for children and youth experiencing emotional disturbances and demonstrating severe and challenging behaviors, in Cleveland, Ohio before joining The Fine Arts Music Therapy faculty. She has been certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit music therapy since 2008. Ann Marie is actively working toward completion of the Master of Art in Music Therapy program at Cleveland State University.
