A charitable bequest is the easiest way to provide the “ultimate gift” to The Fine Arts Association. By making a provision in your will to leave a financial gift or a gift of property or goods to The Fine Arts Association, you can perpetuate your life interest and influence into the future. A bequest can also be made by simply adding a codicil to an existing will.
Gifts of Life Insurance
Gifts of Retirement Plans
You can make The Fine Arts Association the owner/beneficiary of a new or existing life insurance policy, and your estate will receive an estate tax deduction for the gift. If you make The Fine Arts Association the owner and beneficiary of your insurance policy, you will reduce your eventual estate and estate taxes.
You can designate The Fine Arts Association as a beneficiary of an IRA, 401(k), 403(b) or other pension or retirement plan. By naming The Fine Arts Association, you will ensure that your estate will receive an estate tax charitable deduction. You can designate a specific amount or a percentage of the death benefit, and you can restrict your gift to a specific purpose or make a general contribution to FAA.
Gifts of Real Estate
You may give your home or vacation home to The Fine Arts Association as a life estate, take a tax deduction for the property, and continue to occupy the house for as long as you live. Please consult your financial advisor on the planned giving option that best suits your financial situation. For more information about making a planned gift to benefit The Fine Arts Association, contact the Development Director at (440) 751-9500, ext. 111 or email email@example.com
Each year corporations match gifts to The Fine Arts Association through employee matching gift programs. Contact your company’s human resource department to see if a matching gift program exists. Retirees and spouses of employees are often eligible for these programs as well.
