Family Ties Information:
Students are divided into two age groups: lower school (LS) and upper school (US). Caring, experienced faculty guide the students through hands-on experiences in visual arts, theatre, music and dance classes. Students share what they have learned with family and friends when they gather for a celebration of the arts at the close of each session.
During this session, Family Ties will celebrate spring, centered around FAA’s youth show, Charlotte’s Web! We will explore themes of friendship, storytelling, and have fun with characters from this terrific tale.
Bonus! The Spring 2020 session includes the opportunity for home schoolers and an accompanying adult to attend their choice of one of the public performances of Charlotte’s Web, presented by the Yarnell Youth Theatre Company. The performances run from February 14-March 1, 2020. Families will receive a voucher to obtain their Charlotte’s Web tickets from Customer Service. The program’s curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Department of Education’s Academic Content Standards in Fine Arts.
