  • All ceramics classes are offered in-person only at this time
  • Ceramics classes for teens and adults have an additional clay fee of $10 per bag
  • Ceramics tools are also available to purchase for $12 per kit
  • Both tools and clay can be purchased at the Customer Service Center
  • The Fine Arts Association offers Private Art Instruction for those who would like a one on one experience that fits to their schedule.

  • Unless indicated, most courses are designed to permit students to continue from previous sessions

CERAMICS CLASSES FOR CHILDREN

CERAMICS CLASSES FOR KIDS & TEENS

  • for ages 6-9
    • Spring Session 2= Mondays from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
      • From March 22nd to May 17th, 2021

Student’s imagination is encouraged through learning three methods of hand building in clay. Master the art of slab, coil and pinch pot building. This session’s projects may include seasonal items, animals, and birdhouses. Clay fee is included in tuition.

In this popular class, students explore sculptural and functional forms using hand building techniques and take turns using the pottery wheel. Emphasis is placed on creativity. Students produce a multitude of creative projects including lidded pots, functional items, and seasonal-themed items. Clay fee is included in tuition.

All skill levels are welcome in this morning class. Students will hand-build or use a pottery wheel. Students are encouraged to pursue individual goals while the instructor assists them. Clay fee is not included in tuition for this class. Clay can be purchased at customer service for $10 per bag.
