FAA’s African Dance and Interpretive Dance classes are lead by FAA dance faculty, Beatrice Parker. Their recent Share Day performance was held in the Corning Auditorium. During one of the numbers, students performed “Over the Rainbow” in sign language.

Interpretive dance provides an opportunity for people of all ages to experience the power of dance as a way to give life to music while expressing emotion, cultural concepts, and storytelling through movement. Interpretive dance includes a wide variety of dance styles and techniques. This style of dance brings freedom to movements through dance.
